    Ramsay Blue Tartan Clan History

    The clan stems from an Anglo-Norman knight who came north to Scotland in the train of David I in 1124. It flourished for centuries with lands in Midlothian, Perthshire, Fife, and Angus, and gained distinction as staunch defenders of the nation's freedom in the bloody wars of independence with England.
